James Bay Cyclist
A privately funded piece of public art, in collaboration with Roger Tinney & Associates. James Bay is a very Bohemian neighbourhood in the City of Victoria, and this piece is a humorous look at the pace of our daily lives… the cyclist juggles her phone and a coffee whilst heading on a collision course with a tree complete with a bird family looking down in amusement. Forged and fabricated steel with a rust patina, sealed with linseed oil. 2011
